A patient's name, a client's file — they shouldn't leave your office. The new tools don't need them.

ClearHarbor Desktop finds the names, dates and other details that need to come out of a note or file and takes them out, right on your own computer.

Before

Patient: Jane Doe DOB: 03/14/1958   MRN: 000-000-1234 Ms. Doe returns today for a follow-up visit and reports feeling well.

After

Patient: [NAME] DOB: [DATE]   MRN: [MRN] Ms. [NAME] returns today for a follow-up visit and reports feeling well.

THE MOMENT

A doctor wants a summary of a twelve-page note. A lawyer wants help with a file that has a client's name on every page. Both know the tool would help. Both know they can't paste that in — so either the work doesn't get done, or the name goes in anyway.

Take the names out first, on your own computer. Check it. Then use whatever tool you like.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Drop in a file, or paste the text.

  2. Click Clean & de-identify. It finds the names, dates and other details that need to come out and takes them out — then shows you what it changed, so you can check it.

  3. Confirm & copy. Nothing goes anywhere until you've read the result and said so — and none of it left your computer.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR COMPUTER

Only what you choose to send.

  • Once ClearHarbor Desktop is installed, everything runs on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Works with the internet switched off. That's not a limitation — that's the point.
  • The built-in engine is deterministic, not AI. Turn on the optional local model and it still runs only on your machine, never learning from your work.
  • The only thing that ever leaves: a note you choose to write and send us, plus a set of non-identifying technical details about the app — never your documents or their contents.
What counts as “technical details”?

What's in the note: what you typed, cleaned twice — once on your own computer, before you see it, and again when it reaches us — and shown to you on screen before you send it.

What's in the technical details: around 60 small pieces of information about how the app was used — things like which screen you were on, how many items were found, your app and Windows version, and how large the document was. Each one is a category, a count, or a version number, never free text — none of them can hold a name, a document, or a file path, because the fields they're built from don't have room for that kind of thing.

How long we keep it: 30 days, then it's deleted automatically.

It works from rules, not judgement. It doesn't read a document the way you do — so it hands the result back to you to check before you send it.

Try it on a real note. Nothing goes anywhere until you say so.
